Volunteer Co-ordinator - Hertfordshire

Full Time (39 hrs per week) or Part Time (30 hrs per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Volunteer Co-ordinator working within an enthusiastic and friendly team across InspireAll Family Centres. The post holder will be based at any of our satelite Family Centres within Dacorum, St. Albans, Hertsmere, Watford or Three Rivers.

We are looking for someone who has;

• Level 4 qualification or equivalent
• Experience of working with Volunteers
• Confidence in recruiting, placing and retaining Volunteers
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• The ability to work on their own initiative
• A logical approach to working
• Full clean driving license and access to a car for business use

The key aspects of the role will involve;

• To network with key community organisations and promote volunteering opportunities
• To monitor, support and motivate volunteers to ensure retention where possible
• To support the training and development of volunteers
• To evaluate volunteering activities and contribute to reports for various audiences
