Salary: £12,000 p.a.

Job type: Permanent, 40 hours per week

Environmental Milton Keynes are looking for a Business Support Apprentice to join the team. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic apprentice to join the business support function and gain some invaluable experience.

The successful apprentice will be joining the customer services team; and will deliver administration support by doing things like taking service bookings, corresponding with contracts and responding to customer queries.

Training will be provided on the job and this will comprise of a Level2 Diploma in Business Administration, Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT. No College attendance will be required for this.

Furthermore, the Business Support Apprentice’s accountabilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Receive and respond to telephone and email enquiries from customers, contractors and colleagues. Process all service bookings through to conclusion. Collaboratively work with the Commercial Services team to ensure that the Customer service team delivery objectives are met consistently. Take on adhoc or additional duties when required when there are limited resources within the team. Liaise closely with contracts or third parties to resolve queries, identify any service failures and ensure the best level of service for customers. Take payments via credit card payments system for Commercial Services related activities. Supporting colleagues in resolving customer/contractor invoice queries. Conduct telephone sales and surveys as and when required.

Environmental Milton Keynes are looking for candidates who have strong Microsoft Office experience, show a strong attention to detail and have an ability to manage their own workload efficiently.
