Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Head of Yield Pricing to join our Global Digital team and focus on pricing – part of the Merlin Digital family.  This role will be based at our Merlin Business Support office in Chessington, Surrey or in County Hall, London.

Reporting into the Digital Strategy & Insight Director, you will be responsible for working closely with regional Heads of eCommerce and regional Yield/Revenue Analysts to drive yield across all channels, with a particular focus on eCommerce. 

The role will….

  • Act as the global authority on pricing issues, working closely with the regional Admissions Revenue Analysts and stepping in to drive strategically important projects that will inform the business on all relevant areas around pricing.
  • Where required, act as ‘consultant’ to advise / support regional Yield/Revenue Analysts / Regional Heads of eCommerce with planning / projects. Act as a sounding board for ideas and support on issues around pricing and revenue management, as required.

Projects may include:


Revenue Optimisation
Product Pricing
Process and Reporting

 Partnering with key attraction stakeholders on a local basis, including the local Marketing Directors and their marketing teams, on projects that drive relevant revenue opportunities where required. 

Working closely with the Regional Direct Marketing, Search Engine Marketing and local Web Managers to ensure that all are kept in the loop and that we have cohesive plan. 

 Dotted line management of Yield/Revenue Analysts – to ensure sharing of best practise.


We are looking for the following skills and experience…

Essential:

• Revenue management for a consumer brand.
• Expert in usage of all relevant price modelling / research / analysis
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Excellent understanding of MS Excel and preferably Google Suite (Analytics, Optimize)
• Confident problem-solver able to work under pressure, when required.

Recommended:

• Experience with the Accesso platform.
• Leisure / entertainment experience.
