Pay Rates

Hourly Rates:over 18's    £8.89 

                      under 18's £7.54

                      under 17's £6.21

Shift Pattern and Contracted Hours

Hours: 8 hours

Shifts:  We have part time positions available at our Bakery in Gosforth. Consisting of an 8 hour contract working on a Saturday 6.00am - 2.00pm.

Contract: fixed term until 21.12.19

Job Description

Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor/Team leader, you will be part of a team specialising in the cleaning and sanitising of production equipment and surround areas.

As a Production Hygiene Operative, you’ll have the ability to reach the highest standards of cleanliness to ensure site quality and safety standards are met. Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, you’ll use a variety of machinery and equipment across a range of tasks. You’ll work in a close-knit team, but you’ll also be expected to work independently, working with enthusiasm and determination to get the job done. 

Skills
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned and sanitised in line with procedures.
  • Ensure that when equipment is rebuilt in readiness for use it is to the required standard.
  • Ensure the equipment is cleaned and ready for us in line with productions requirements.
  • Ensure offices, toilets and production areas are clean.
  • Complete all relevant documentation in line with requiments.
  • All activities are in line with the sites BRC requirements.
  • Carryout all duties in line with Health and Food Safety standards and procedures.

       Previous experience in a similar role

       Enthusiasm

       Able to priorise own work load and react to unplanned changes.

       Full flexibility for shifts is required for this role.
