Apprentice Teaching Assistant - Northwich

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support for pupils
  • Support the activities of individuals or groups of children
  • Participate in the education of children, including contributing to their health and well being
  • Ability to build good relationships with children, teachers, parents and carers.

The vacancies offer exciting opportunities for candidates to work in our busy and vibrant school where we encourage children to flourish across the curriculum. The role of our teaching assistants is interesting and varied, involving supporting pupils with different needs and abilities, for example, leading small group interventions to whole class learning or supporting individual children on a one-to-one basis. In addition, duties may involve supporting teaching staff in the preparation of classroom resources and displays.

GCSE grade D or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths - desirable as support will be given to be able to achieve level 2 functional skills. 

DBS checks will be required
