We are Chessington World of Adventures Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!
We
are currently recruiting for a Head of Hotel Operations. In this role you will be part of the guest
operations team coverings a wide remit including food & beverage, front office,
housekeeping, leisure club, guest services, seasonal glamping and health and
safety. That’s one heck of a challenge in terms of skill set and you have to be
pretty adventurous yourself to take on this role.
The main areas of responsibility include:
Responsibility for the rooms division and for managing negotiations with contractors, suppliers and partners.
Ensuring operational service and presentation excellence in Reception, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Guest Services and the Leisure Club through first class planning and procedures.
In partnership with the Hotel Operations Director and Heads of Department, ensure that the processes for capturing and responding to guest feedback are managed appropriately.
Management of the senior rota and senior cover activities with on duty and on call support shifts.
Taking responsibility for the health and safety function within the Hotel from leading the Safety, Health & Environmental plan, ensuring correct practices are in place to auditing, reviewing and recording of processes and promoting best practice throughout the Hotel.
Demonstrating creative flair whilst protecting company policies and procedures
We are looking for the following

A driven, enthusiastic & proven strategical leader.
You’ll have the hotel operations know how to really drive the hotel to deliver success.
You will understand Merlin and our future growth and expansion plans for accommodation and ideally you’ll want to grow within Merlin to further your career.
This
role is full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include
weekends, evenings and bank holidays. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the
operation.

a competitive annual salary between £42,588.50- £46,588.50 and 33 days holiday
