This charming old coaching inn sits in the heart of Broadway village – often called ‘the jewel of the Cotswolds’ – and boasts a rich history, coloured by the many characters who have stayed here, from Oliver Cromwell to Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. There’s a new spa tucked away in a tranquil corner of the hotel, but to unwind in the fresh air, pull on your wellies and explore those beautiful rolling hills.

We are now recruiting a Spa Manager to join our fantastic team.

The Lygon Arms - Spa Manager 

• To take ownership in producing an accurate breakdown of all spa reports and profit margins on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and attend monthly Finance and HOD meetings
• Confident in the; Control, Manage and adjust all stock inventory within agreed monthly timescale and ensure that the correct usage of Purchase orders is maintained
• Manage and control Department expenditure within agreed budgets.
• Be passionate in initiating and developing special events to increase public interest gaining maximum attendance and profile awareness
• Liaise regularly with the Hotel General Manager and Spa Director to continually update on current affairs.
• Take ownership and ensure that all areas of the Spa run smoothly and effectively as per the standards set by the Company.
• Deal with customer queries and complaints with confidence and to ensure they are resolved efficiently and professionally
• Identify training and development needs for all staff members; liaise with the HR Department to ensure they are in line with the specifications of the Company.
• Hold regular meetings with all staff to ensure effective communication and control
• Complete all staff appraisals, managing and  develop  the team with guidance  from the HR Department and Spa Director
• Liaise with Spa Director and HR Department on all Recruitment and Selection needs.
