Our Hotels, Restaurants and Bars in New York, LA and Miami are legendary. Situated in London’s Kings Cross; The Standard, London opened earlier this summer and has propelled The Standard brand onto the international stage with 266 rooms, terrace suites and gardens in addition to several bars and restaurants throughout the property.

In addition to the ground floor outlets the top floor of the Standard London will feature a stand-alone destination restaurant headed by award winning chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias. Set to open in the Autumn of 2019; guests will arrive in ever-playful Standard Style as they board the iconic bright red exterior lift cab at the street level before being whisked directly to the top floor. The Restaurant features two separate bar areas, main restaurant which showcases live fire cooking and two semi private dining spaces and roof terraces with commanding 360-degree views of London.

We are now seeking an experienced individual to support the opening of our 10th floor restaurants and bars and manage a number of ongoing associated F&B projects for the launch of this new London destination.

Your role

As an F&B restaurant project manager you will support the Restaurant Management teams with the coordination of pre-opening project time lines and the critical path for all areas of the restaurant from recruitment and staffing timelines, finalising delivery time lines for furniture, fixtures & equipment, arranging and setting up contracts with regular suppliers for products and services. During the pre-opening of the restaurant you will coordinate and support the onboarding of the 10th floor teams and oversee the various training plans for all of the areas; scheduling any training resources and external suppliers as needed.

Once our 10th floor restaurants and bars are open you will become part of our management team and oversee service delivery across all of our new rooftop bars, restaurant and roof terraces. You will also continue to support a number of operational projects including productivity and payroll analysis, analyse customer footfall and revenue generation metrics, manage stock and cost control, budget and financial analysis to ensure the business achieves profitability. Provide a range of monthly reports for the F&B Director.

You are a natural leader and with your communication skills you are able to motivate junior team members and help the team develop to deliver a consistently high performance. Your exceptional knowledge of food and drink will help create an environment where you and the other F&B professionals will not only delight our guest but also excite and surprise them to create the ultimate dining experience in London, that is anything but Standard!

At the heart of our hotels are of course our people who through their vibrancy and energy bring our properties to life.
