JobSummary

-Supervisesday to day kitchen operations and staff, all food preparation areas includingbanquets, Room Service, restaurants, bar/lounge and associate cafeteria toensure a consistent, high quality food product

-Salesvolume, culinary category, number of meals served and complexity of theoperation determine level of responsibility and scope of position

-Workswith the Food and Beverage management team and associates to continuallyimprove guest and associate satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget

-As anassistant department head, uses leadership skills to mange other managers.

-Uses all available on the jobtraining tools for associates; supervises on-going training initiatives andconducts training when appropriate.

    Whatyou'll be doing

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
  • Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
  • Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
  • Whatwe're looking for

  • Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
  • Positive outlook and outgoing personality
  • Previous kitchen experience is a big plus
  • This rolerequires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting orwalking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance ina clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we'll ask you tocomplete safety training and certification.
