The Red Cow, Whitchurch is a much-loved traditional drinks led community pub which is known for its Cask Ales and is a known drinking spot for the local area. It's an easy to manage trading space with a central bar and is popular within the community, with local darts and pool teams alongside being known for entertainment.
We are planning a full refurbishment to this lovely pub which will enhance its vibrant and welcoming atmosphere modernising it whilst remaining sympathetic to its traditional features.

The pub has an open plan trading space with a central bar. This is a great pub to operate as all areas of the pub can be monitored from the bar. There is a natural zoning of games area, seated drinking, agreat outdoor space which also offers a smoking solution, and the pub haslive televised sports andWIFI.

Refurbishment
We are planning a full redecoration throughout. This will bring the pub into modernity giving it a fresh look and feel, whilst retaining the features of a traditional public house. We are excited to propel this pub back to where it belongs – the best place to drink for all in Whitchurch. The refurbishment will be transformational and make this an attractive proposition enhancing its appeal to a much wider customer base.

The private accommodation includes two bedrooms, a open plankitchenand living area.

Whitchurch is a brilliant small market town in Northern Shropshire which sits near the South Wales and Cheshire borders. Whitchurch has a warm and close-knit community and this pub sits in central Whitchurch amongst independent shops, cafes, other bars and restaurants.
The town also has a thriving drinking and eating scene and is also popular for walks along its canal, cycling and short breaks attracting visitors who use it as a base to explore the area.

This pub may suit
We are looking for an operator with warm personality who can take the helm and make sure that the Red Cow is operated to high standards and with pride. The operator will enjoy managing a strong Rhythm of the Week and understand that savvy marketing will attract custom. We need someone who is at ease with all types of customer and truly enjoys being at the heart of a community.

About the Agreement

Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 - 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.

You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Punch Development Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.

Once you've completed the 5-day induction course we'll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.

Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.

* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (3,000 or 6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Punch Development Manager
