The Winterburn - Halifax, West Yorkshire

Guide Rent: £16,000 per annum

Pub Features

Situated on a hillside in the picturesque village of Warley, Halifax, The Winterburn boasts spectacular views across the Yorkshire valleys. There are various seating areas, offering beautiful window views, which surround a good sized bar.

Dividing the seating area from the dining area is a doubled sided wood burning stove, which creates a warm village feel to the property. A large dining area offers panoramic views and leads out to an attractive beer garden and a fully equipped catering kitchen. To the side of the property there is a smoking shelter and there is a car park at the rear. Living accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom and has been well maintained throughout.

Trading Style

Trade at The Winterburn comes from the local villages and towns, particularly Warley and Sowerby Bridge. Known locally for its homemade freshly cooked food, The Winterburn recently won a National Thwaites Hospitality Award for Best Pub Food. Able to seat around 50 covers, The Winterburn also offers functions which can be tailored to suit any occasion or event.

Weekly there are various food offers such as an Early Dinner Menu, Steak Thursday’s, Fish Friday’s and Sunday Lunch. There is a quiz night on Tuesday’s and events such as Cake & Coffee mornings are offered. The local Rugby and local Cricket team use the pub regularly, particularly after games at the weekend. Current opening hours are: Monday closed, Tuesday/Wednesday & Thursday 12pm-11pm, Friday and Saturday 12pm-12am and Sunday 12pm -10pm. Food service hours are:

Tuesday – Friday 12pm – 2pm / 5pm – 8:30pm, Saturday 12pm – 8:30pm and Sunday 12pm – 6:30pm
