Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre – based on Centennial Park in Elstree - just 5 minutes from the main hospital site. 

Duties and responsibilities

Based in our kitchens you will be one of our Chefs responsible for preparation and cooking of all meals served to both patients and staff. Meals for our patients are prepared in accordance with strict guidelines due to dietary requirements but there is more opportunity to show creativity within the staff restaurant. 
This position would suit an experienced Chef looking to move in to a role with a great work life balance as you will generally work a 37.5 hour week between the hours of 7am and 8pm Monday to Friday with one weekend on average per month.

•    A relevant culinary qualification (NVQ etc)
•    Experience working as a Chef in a professional environment
•    Excellent team worker and the flexibility to work varying shift lengths
