Gymnastics Assistant - Springfield Community Campus 

Springfield Community Campus are looking for two enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our Gymnastics team to assist our level 2 coaches in line with normal operating procedures, emergency action plans and adopted service standards.

Leisure services provide a range of universal and targeted physical activity, sport and leisure opportunities for the Wiltshire population. Springfield Community Campus has a small team that work closely together and are dedicated to delivering an excellent experience to the local community.

About the role

The main purpose of this role is to deliver the centre’s school holiday camp activate programme.

You will be working as part of a team and should ideally have some experience of working in a customer-focused environment. More importantly, you will enjoy working with the public and ideally have experience with sports or leisure. This is an ideal opportunity to kick start your career in the leisure industry, as you will quickly benefit from the training we provide.

Patterns of work will be agreed with your line manager to meet the service delivery requirements and the needs of the camp activate programme.

About you

We will look to you to hold a level 1 coaching award in gymnastics.

You should be able to communicate with a range of people of mixed abilities and ages and have an awareness of safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. You should also have an under-pinning knowledge of principles and procedures around delivery of activities to children and young people.

Patterns of work will be agreed with your line manager to meet the service delivery requirements and the needs of the camp activate programme.
