About Us

As the world’s largest global youth movement and arguably the most recognisable and iconic of all charity brands, we have an exciting opportunities for Sales & Service Advisors to join us in the YMCA Club, on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours per week). Flexibility to work some weekends is essential.

About the Role

As the face of the Club and part of the Front of House team you will proactively seek ways to match customer needs with the best products and services available to maximise retention, visit frequency and results. YMCA Club is our London gym and as the site of the very first YMCA, it’s also our innovation hub. The gym remains the largest in the capital and it’s where we develop our pioneering new techniques and ideas.

Specifically, you will:

  • Achieve membership sales, activity and renewal targets consistently.
  • Deliver and follow-up all sales and retention processes and standard operating procedures essential to the role.
  • Effectively use the Club's systems and procedures to ensure prompt and accurate administration in all areas.
  • Seek ways to ensure the customer experience promotes activity adherence, length of stay, positive feedback, referrals and develop raving fans across the Club community.
  • Develop a robust, supportive and productive communication across all areas of the business and maintain professional working relationships with stakeholders, representing the Charity at all times.

About You

You will be a conscientious, driven, energetic and persistent Sales & Service Advisor. This role requires an outgoing, self-motivated individual who tirelessly looks for ways to grow income, membership numbers, referrals, and new leads at every opportunity.  Well organized and a strong, supportive team player, you achieve targets through developing heroic relationships with customers from corporate to concessions.

Are you up for the challenge? As well as excellent communication, interpersonal and rapport building skills, you will need to have:

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a face-to-face, customer service environment.
  • Sales training (external or in-house).
  • Working knowledge of CRM and sales systems.
  • Working to structured systems in order to deliver targets.
  • Successful participation in local corporate outreach.
  • Highly literate and numerate.

This could be your chance to join our innovative team and to do something great for yourself – and for others.  If this sounds right for you, or if would like to find out more about this position, click apply and register your details today!
