Stove Restaurant & Bar is a multi-generational, deliberately different kind of restaurant on the Langdale Estate. The Estate comprises the Langdale Hotel – with 52 bedrooms, Brimstone - a 16 bedroom boutique hotel, 100 timeshare units, Wainwrights Inn, Stove Restaurant and Bar and Brimstone Spa.
Stove has something for everyone all day and evening merging great indoors and outdoors spaces. The Wine Room is a quiet oasis for adults, the Mezzanine is a relaxing space with views of the hills, the open kitchen is a theatre and the bar is the place to be. Modern and traditional dishes featuring seasonal and the finest local produce are created by the kitchen team.
We are looking for food & beverage assistants who have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, the ability to work as a team or as an individual and to be attentive to all guests in order to surpass their expectations.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to dazzle guests with your ability to anticipate their needs to ensure they have everything to enjoy their visit. This role includes taking orders, serving food & drinks, cocktail making, barista work, upselling. Experience of working either in a 1 or 2 rosette restaurants or with real ales would be an advantage. But most important is your ability to make guests smile – we can teach you how to make a coffee, cocktail or to carry a tray – your outstanding customer service is what we are looking for.
We are located in the heart of the Langdale valley so ideal for those that like the outdoors and want to spend their days off walking, climbing, mountain biking etc.
As is an independent operator our teams thrive on the ability to work dynamically and find solutions in a creative way.
