Plumber​ - The Balmoral - Edinburgh

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902 it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

The Role

As a plumber you will carry out all engineering based tasks within the Hotel to comply with the appropriate regulations and to the required Balmoral Standard. These will involve general plumbing tasks and will include other general engineering work.

You will be involved in maintaining the fabric of our hotel and service provision to the highest possible standard in a fully operational mode.

You will be responsible for preventive maintenance work, regularly inspecting and carrying out remedial work on all plumbing and other mechanical/electrical equipment as required.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar role and a professional plumbing qualification (SQV Level 2) would be desirable.
