Chef de Partie​ - The Balmoral - Edinburgh

At The Balmoral, our culinary team work tirelessly to offer an excellent choice of cuisine whether hosting a conference for 450 in one of our 10 event spaces, or for an intimate fine dining experience in our Michelin Star restaurant, Number One. We worked in collaboration with legendary three star chef and restaurateur Alain Roux, to launch Brasserie Prince in 2018, celebrating a 'new alliance': matching the very best of Scottish produce with classic French cooking.

Chef de Partie

We now have an opportunity to for a talented Chef de Partie to join our culinary team and work as part of a brigade of chefs with a passion for fresh, Scottish ingredients as well as seasonality and sustainability. We focus on growing and developing chefs with the right attitude and our 5 star facilities allow us to be an excellent training ground for chefs who are keen to learn new skills and progress in their own careers.

As a Chef de Partie you will join a dedicated kitchen team, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef. You will be a perfectionist, passionate about all aspects of quality food and wine, and well-versed in techniques and ideas covering international cuisines. Alongside your exceptional culinary skills, taste and technique, you will be capable of self-direction and self-reliance in a busy hotel kitchen – bringing comparable experience in a luxury dining environment.
