Reservations Agent - London

. The Langham, London is currently looking to recruit a Reservations Agent. Your key duties would be to:

  • answer all incoming Reservation enquiries, by telephone, fax or e-mail, in a timely manner, and wherever possible to convert them to bookings.
  • input reservations into the OPERA system, ensuring all details are accurate and complete in line with the agreed departmental standard.
  • maintain accurate filing systems for all correspondence within the department, and ensure all filing is completed daily.
  • to ensure all system traces are actioned on a daily basis
  • to ensure all 'no-shows' from the previous night are followed up and charged accordingly
  • to perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing etc. on a daily basis.

    Requirement .
    • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build the rapport with guests
    • Ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Strong organisational and administrative skills
    • Strong computer skills; all Microsoft Office packages and working knowledge of Opera PMS is essential
    • Great team player
    • Positive attitude
