Main role and objectives:

As our Front Office Manager you are expected to provide support and oversee the operations of the Front of House departments with over 100 team members in a 1019 bedroom hotel. This will be done by leading by example and ensuring that all aspects of the Company context are followed by all members of the Front of House teams, particularly in relation to the desired Guest Experience of ‘Feeling Welcome’.

Your responsibilities as a Front Office Manager will include:

- Oversee and coordinate front of house operations, including Guest Services, Concierge, Reception, Nights, and Guest Relations departments

- Guide and works with managers and team members to successfully execute all front office operations, including guest arrival and departure procedures along with operational standards to continually improve guest and team member satisfaction and maximise the financial performance of the department

- Adhere to the hotel and Park Plaza Hotels corporate guidelines and service concepts

We are looking for

The ideal Front Office Manager will:

- Front Office experience within a high volume business

- Able to differentiate between different guest types and in-house guests

- Experience of adhering to hotel & company procedures

- Experience of supervising a team and developing team members

- Pro-active team player who easily connects with others

- Experience at responding to guest feedback to a high standard

- Strong motivational and leadership qualities

- Passion for the hospitality industry

- Ability to work in a large team

- Strong analytical skills

- Be well organized and motivated

- Passionate about exceeding guest expectations

- Able to work in a fast paced working environment and remain calm under pressure

- Possess a good command of English and has excellent communication skills

- Opera/HotSos experience
