Accounts Receivable/Payable Manager - Gaucho - London

Gaucho and M Restaurants have an exciting new opportunity in Head Office to join as our Accounts Receivable/Payable Manager. This is a role that will work with the 16 UK based Gaucho restaurants and 3 M Restaurants.

Key Outcomes: The 5 key priorities of the role (outputs)
1. Ownership of Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable and Bank Subledgers
2. Ensuring all suppliers are paid in line with payment terms, and customers meet our payment terms
3. Ownership of weekly, month end payment runs, international payments, quarterly rent runs and direct debits
4. Ownership of all 5 banks accounts, ensuring all cash is managed between each account
5. Management and development of three direct reports – Accounts Payable and Sales Audit

Key Areas of Responsibility i.e. Team Leadership
• Ensuring all suppliers are paid in line with payment terms, and customers meet out payment terms
• Preparation of mid-month, month end payment runs, International payments and faster same day payments
• Review of supplier statements reconciliations – ensuring all are reconciled and variances are actioned in a timely manner
• Ensuring all employee expenses are paid in line with payment terms and within the expenses policy
• Ensuring all daily cash up tasks are completed in a timely manner, including cash, credit card, Deliveroo, bank transfers and debtors.
• Reviewing weekly reconciliation of cash and credit card receipts to statements
• Ownership of company deposits received, ensuring all are matched and reconciled to booking date
• Ownership of reconciliation and closure of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank subledgers
• Ownership of preparation of VAT returns for UK and Dubai
• Assisting with month end deadlines including review and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, CAPEX allocations and journal preparation

Preferred Skills and Experience
• Knowledge of Sage or Fourth FnB (R9)
