An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team at Serco Leisure division who are recruiting for a Head of Change and Support Services to work for the London Cycle Hire Scheme.

London's public bike sharing scheme is available 24/7, 365 days a year. There are more than 12,000 bikes and over 800 bike docking stations across London to help you get around quickly and easily.

The scheme recently expanded to Brixton so now you can saddle up anywhere from Shepherds Bush to Canary Wharf and Brixton to Camden Town.

Overview of the role

As the successful candidate, you will lead the Change and Support functions for the London Cycle Hire BMS contract. This includes being accountable for all change activity and actively working with the client to deliver projects that enable future growth and service improvements.  

This role includes, management of internal and external change projects, pipeline development, training, compliance, and IT supply chain management. The role will sit on the London Cycle Hire SMT and will be responsible  for shaping the support service structure of the contract, with budget responsibility for project delivery, support staff and all other non-operational spend..

About you

If you are already a Head of Services or Senior Services Manager working with experience in managing change projects within IT environment, we want to hear from you.  Knowledge of the wider IT sector is useful, however leadership and commercial attributes obtained in other sectors are highly transferable to this role.

Key to your success will be your exceptional communication skills. As an influential and persuasive leader, you will have a successful track record in managing, developing, motivating and inspiring both direct reports and people in your wider organisation to cultivate strong, engaged and competent teams.
