GLL, the UK's largest provider of public leisure and cultural services is looking for Dance Teachers in a number of disciplines such as jazz, tap, street and contemporary / creative to join the team at Sutton Dance Academy. Working hours will be varied across the week from 4.00pm. You'll join a small yet vibrant team of enthusiastic and experienced teachers, teaching dance to pupils 3 years + and of mixed abilities. Sutton Dance Academy is a fun and friendly environment focussed on building confidence and ability in a positive way. As a Dance Teacher for GLL, you'll deliver high-quality dance classes which are creative in content and enjoyable for students to take part in. It's not just about the practical sessions though as you'll need to plan and prepare lessons according to the required syllabus and assess and record development in examinations. You'll be a key part of a team who share the same ethos and values of nurturing and developing creativity, where you'll have the opportunity to bring new ideas to the team. You'll need degree in your chosen dance genre as well as how to give structure to your classes and keep your students engaged whether they're beginners or professionals preparing for auditions.
