The Opportunity

Reporting into the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality patient catering service, managing the service, budget and the staff. As Patient Catering Manager you will cost all menus, ensuring stock is maintained and manage the budget for the entire food production area.

You will be responsible for delivering against the relevant KPIs and ensuring all staff are appropriately trained. The current service provision is a fresh cook production and you will ensure that our high quality standards are maintained.

In conjunction with other departments (i.e. NHS JCUH Dietetics) you will formulate, implement and monitor policies in line with the organisational objectives and NHS guidelines.

About You

You will hold an Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate with a HND or City & Guilds (or equivalent). You will have experience of managing a catering operation, preferably a fresh cook production service within a healthcare environment.
