Here at Brunning & Price we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our team based in Coalport, just outside Telford. You’ll receive a highly competitive salary of up to £23,000 and will be a member of a friendly close-knit team.

Brunning and Price is a collection of individual pub restaurants each with its own style and flavour.  We like to think we run informal places for people who like to meet, eat, drink and talk in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The Pub

The Woodbridge is situated on the banks of the River Severn, a mile downstream from Ironbridge in Shropshire, and is named after the wooden bridge that once connected the pub to the village of Coalport on the opposite bank. The pub was built at the same time as the bridge, in around 1785.

There are lots of interesting corners and nooks to squirrel away in, or more open, buzzy areas if you're in a more gregarious mood. We have a substantial raised deck at first floor level to provide an outside drinking and eating area overlooking the river, and a sunny garden room which also looks out over the river with further dining space.

The Role

Our Assistant Managers support the Pub Manager with all aspects of running the business from providing great customer service to driving profitability.
