To learn the basics of Customer Service in a Freight Forwarding environment; while working as part of a team creating value for clients by excellence in delivery of the Company’s Freight Forwarding services, contributing to our objective of providing 100% satisfaction to build customer loyalty.
Participating & engaging in all training provided by the Company.
Gaining skills in customer service, communicating by email & telephone, office administration and international shipping & forwarding.
Ensure customer’s needs are the daily top priority, building customer confidence by meeting commitments and delivering the greatest value.
Develop an understanding of customer demands and expectations in line with the ethos of providing 100% customer satisfaction.
Completing Freight Forwarding operational processes for all imports and exports under supervision, ensuring that all shipments are dealt with in the most efficient and timely manner including updating both paper and electronic records.
Maintaining Customer Relationship Management system with up to-date records of activity
To provide an efficient and effective administrative support to the Freedom Logistics Operations team, including filing, replying to emails, printing and copying documents.
Taking and receiving telephone enquiries and providing excellent customer service skills.
Keeping customers, vendors and colleagues updated where necessary
Maintain an accurate paper and electronic filing system
Collect and distribute post
Organised, can work on own initiative, to deadlines and within a team
The ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
Technically minded & computer literate;
Demonstrates an aptitude for attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively; able to clearly explain issues to colleagues & clients.
Demonstrates active listening skills empathy and a helpful and polite confident manner
- Have GCSE at C or above in Math’s and English or equivalent
