Day time Kitchen Porter & Prep assistant - Walthamstow/Leyton, London

Full time, Flexible Monday to Saturday  | £8.50 per hour

The Role:

We are currently hiring for a full-time Kitchen porter and food prep assistant at our central kitchen in E10. Your hours will be Monday to Friday, 9.30-6 with a half hour unpaid lunch break. You will be responsible for all kitchen porter responsibilities, including the cleaning and sanitising of all equipment used by the central kitchen, the upkeep of our laundry room, storage rooms and general workspace. You will be working alongside our Kitchen Manager & Kitchen Assistant helping in light food preparation responsibilities such as peeling, weighing and preparing ingredients in preparation for making our fresh sauces,  & marinades.

We send daily deliveries to our sites from our unit in E10, on the Lea Bridge Road very near Walthamstow and Clapton.

Who we are looking for:

• We are looking for a Kitchen porter with previous commercial experience.
• The job requires someone who is active and likes to work quickly.
• You must be comfortable with working in a small team.
• You must also be happy to carry out the regular cleaning of the kitchen.
