eCommerce Optimisation Manager (CRO / Ecommerce / MVT)
Based at Asda House in Leeds
About the role
This exciting and dynamic role is responsible for optimising the Asda Grocery eCommerce platform to enhance the customer experience, generate insight and innovation, and drive sales in the fastest growing area of the business. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Web Development & Analytics, you will be able to demonstrate a proven approach to hypothesising, confidence with eCommerce technology and display an understanding of customer & business needs in a fast-paced retail environment.
What you’ll be responsible forDelivering an effective testing strategy supporting multiple eCommerce teams across Site Merchandising, Digital Marketing and Technology functions Use of web analytics data & customer insight to generate and validate hypotheses Leading search & personalisation workstreams to enhance the customer experience & improve conversion Working with Walmart Global eCommerce Product Managers & UX Architects to define and deliver development requirements Working with 3rd party technology providers to integrate new front end tools and optimise these for maximum ROI Line management of one direct report About youeCommerce experience with team management or stakeholder management experience (CRO Management or MVT experience also considered) Knowledge of eCommerce systems & techniques, including: Hypothesis Frameworks Multivariate Testing Web Analytics Personalisation Agile Development Innovative approach with a proven ability to challenge the status quo, identify areas of opportunity, and deliver value Experience of working with 3rd party technologies – vendor selection, onboarding, integration & ongoing management Experience of working in a fast paced business environment Ability to influence stakeholders across eCommerce disciplines Your benefits:
