ExCeL London, the exhibition and international convention centre, is the host venue for a variety of events from award winning exhibitions and conferences to international association meetings, product launches, banquets, award ceremonies, sporting events and great days out.
Levy UK are looking to recruit a Senior In Hall Operations Manager to manage our high volume and constantly evolving retail offer across 6 different brands over 13 different areas including 2 seated areas, plus, so much more!

Responsibilities
- Fully responsible for the Concession team within Excel, Levy UK venue which consists of 6 different brands across 13 different areas including 2 seated areas - plus so much more.
- To inspire the team to deliver exceptional service to our clients and guests through the Levy Difference
- To support and lead the Concession staff and managers to ensure operational excellence and efficiency at all times aiming to exceed the client and guest expectations.
- To review the Retail business and performance and ensure delivery of key financial targets and customer feedback targets of 90%
- To support the Concession team in continual development of the business using new products, service techniques and other efficiencies.
- To demonstrate full alignment to our Levy UK vision and values by doing the right things and celebrating successes
- Living the Levy Difference in everything we do.
- Lead the day to day Retail operation for event days.
- Oversee the set up and clear down on non-event days
Ideal Candidate
- Confidently able to manage a multi million £ turnover within a mixed portfolio of outlets across both event catering and fixed units
- Multi site / outlet management essential
- Senior management presence to engage with peers and functional specialists, so that all are focused on delivering a consistently great product.
- Positive and passionate focus on food – a natural passion for food and hospitality
- Experienced in leading the implementation of change programmes to deliver operational benefits.
- Comfortable working within brand guidelines to deliver results
- Experience in fast paced multipe food and retail outlets
- Excellent communications skills – able to influence at all stakeholder levels
- Experience of working with a varied client group
- Previous P&L accountability and strong financial acumen
- Demonstrates flexibility and agility
- Calm and structured approach, coupled with resilience and problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit
