Job Details

GLL is looking for a part-time Sales Advisor based at Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre in Streatham, South London. You'll drum up sales enquiries through tours of your facility, outreach activities and following up referrals - either in person or over the phone. Able to confidently convert conversations into sales, this is your chance to join an organisation that's as ambitious as you are.

If you have the passion needed to achieve sales and revenue targets, being a Sales Advisor could be the role for you. Without generating sales and income, we simply couldn't provide a vital service to our communities. That makes this a sales role like no other, as you meet people's needs, and in turn, your targets. This is anything but the hard sell, or a typical office role.

Integrity is key. You'll never sell anything that people don't genuinely need or can't afford. As a Sales Advisor, your focus will be on identifying a customer's needs and interests, and then presenting products and services that match them perfectly. People buy people. So, you'll combine your flair for sales with customer service to build people's trust - quickly establishing a friendly, yet professional rapport with customers from all walks of life. Whilst you'll meet targets as a team, it isn't commission-based so you'll have the peace of mind of a regular income - and we'll provide training, too.

In return, we offer a range of benefits that you'd expect from the UK's largest leisure provider:

  • Pension schemes
  • Ride to work scheme
  • Discounted membership at our leisure centres
  • The opportunity to join the GLL Society and have a say in how we're run plus associated social events
  • Career pathways
  • Ongoing training and development to help you to be the best

If you have the passion and skills for this role, apply now.

All pay rates are subject to skills, experience, qualifications and location.

To be shortlisted for the role, internal applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment to GLL by becoming a Society member where eligible.
