Main role and objectives:

This is key role has the overall responsibility for managing the day to day running of the Room Service & Executive Lounge  areas during each serving period. High standards must be ensured across the Room Service, Mini-Bar and Executive Lounge operations, ensuring that high levels of service and offered, actively monitoring the staffing levels in order to improve effectiveness and making sure an effective communication within the department. 

Your responsibilities:

    To ensure that the areas are managed on a day to day and week by week basis with effective communication within and between departments.
  • To develop the long term strategy with the Director of Food & Beverage for these areas looking at the continual growth and development of the product and the people
  • Ensure effective management of payroll costs for the relevant areas are in line with the departmental budget
  • To positively promote sales awareness within the department and maximise sales opportunities
  • Embraces a culture of collaboration with all hotel departments, to maintain an operational efficiency during peak periods

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Manager within the food service industry
  • Someone who is able to provide direction and leadership to all team members..
  • Someone with High level of commercial awareness
  • Someone who has the ability to be flexible and adaptable in various situations
  • Someone who is great at creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business, communicating effectively in a range of situations
