Food Production Operative (Days) – Head Office

Due to our continuing growth, we are looking for a Food Production Operative to join the SOHO family on Day Shifts, in the Central Production Unit at our Head Office, located in Ashville Trading Estate, Cheltenham.  

At SOHO, we are passionate about food, and we pride ourselves on being a food-led coffee business, where we sell delicious, handmade food alongside our fantastic triple-certified coffee. 

Working with our Days team in the Kitchen, you will be responsible for creating our inviting food for sale in stores; on Days you will be producing our delicious salads, toasties, wraps, melts and yogurt pots, as well as sauces and mixes.

Our Food Production team are the heart of SOHO, so you will need to be passionate about working with food and take great pride in preparing our menu by following detailed specification, whilst adhering to safety and hygiene regulations at all times. It is vital that you are a flexible team-player, to ensure the Kitchen runs on-time and to schedule.

If you have previous experience of working in a high-volume food production environment, such as a kitchen, bakery or factory, or have a genuine interest in getting into a career in food production, then we would love to hear from you.

We ensure that every one of our Food Production Operatives goes through our great internal training prior to any Kitchen duties, including Health & Safety, Food Safety at the equivalent of Level 2, Allergens and COSHH.

Hours & Pay

• Full Time; 30+ hours per week
• Shifts are 5 days out of 7, between 07:30-15:00
• £8.21 per hour (age 25+); £7.70 per hour (age 21-24); £6.50 per hour (age 18-20); £5.00 per hour (age 16-17)
• 28 Days Holiday per year, with increase after 5 years’ service
