IT Assistant

Brunning and Price is a relaxed but professional company who run 83 classic food-led pub restaurants nationwide. Business is going well and we’re in period of significant growth.

Technical and IT support is provided from our small head office based in Saighton, near Chester, and we’re currently looking for an IT Assistant to support our Head of IT in helping to help shape the company’s core IT infrastructure and look after the IT at the pubs.

In terms of technical skills and ability, you will need a relevant IT degree or equivalent experience.  In particular, we’re looking for someone with up to date knowledge of Windows and Linux Servers, SQL database admin, networking and the AWS eco system. A working knowledge of OSX would also be an advantage in the support element of the role.

On a day to day basis you’ll be involved in a wide variety of systems administration and development projects, as well as providing first line support to systems users.  The ability to effectively project manage and prioritise your work is crucial, together with a friendly and helpful approach to problem solving.

You will also need to hold a valid UK driving licence as limited travel between our ites will be required.
