Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising the Front of House team.
  • Ensuring prompt service of food and beverages to a high standard.
  • Glass collecting and resetting of tables.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of all areas.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, using Epos Systems.
  • Stock rotation of merchandise on shelves and in fridges to avoid excessive waste.

The team at Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat are looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within Hospitality.

You will become a key part of the Food and Beverage team at this family friendly resort in Keswick. The main responsibilities will include supervising the front of house team to ensure a high standard of customer service is provided at all times. You will do this by maintaining a clean and tidy bar and restaurant area at all times, clearing and resetting tables promptly and keeping correct levels of stock. Alongside this you will assist in team training and give support to the Food and Beverage Manager where required.

Due to the customer facing nature of the role, excellent customer service skills are essential. An enthusiastic personality and some experience within a bar or restaurant setting are also key in success within this role.

This is a permanent position to work variable hours. This will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

This position is ideal for candidates searching for Bar and Waiting positions within a commutable distance of Keswick.

What experience you will need

  • Previous experience within a similar environment is desired.

  • Excellent standards of customer service.
  • Driving licence and ability to drive is advantageous to enable you to get to the park.
