Children’s Activities Assistant (Child Care Qualified) - 1Life Woughton Leisure Centre

We are looking to recruit a qualified kids activities assistants to work on site for a upcoming new project.

We're looking for applicants who have:

• Hold a level 3(preferred) or level 2 (minimum) child care qualification.
• Heaps of enthusiasm.
• Ability to work and engage with children creating a fun atmosphere.
• Understanding of the important in providing a safe environment for children.
• Energetic leadership skills.
• Passion for working with children.

As a part time kids activities assistant you'll work closely with our Kids Activities Manager to grow and publicise this new product.

The working hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sundays from 9am - 12pm.
Should this new facility prove successful, additional shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Please note that only the following qualifications are accepted for this position:

Level 2/3 in Children’s Care Learning and development

Level 2/3 diploma in play work

BTEC national diploma in children’s care learning and development (also known as a CCLD)

CACHE level 3 diploma in childcare and education

Foundation / honours degree in early childhood studies

NVQ level 3 childcare and education

NVQ Level 3 early years care and education

Degree in primary education.

The below certifications are not accepted:

Level 2 or 3 in health and social care / Any qualification in youth work / Any classroom assistant qualification / Degree in post primary education
