Commis Chef – up £9.90 per hour depending on age & experience including TRONC. LIVE IN AVAILABLE.

We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our fully refurbished Grade II listed, Cotswold stone, inn, The Frogmill (GL54 4HT) located at the junction of the A40 and the A436, nestled between Cheltenham (8 miles) Cirencester (12 miles) and Stow  on the Wold (12 miles). The Frogmill has a new bar, 100 seater restaurant, wedding & conference facility, 28 letting bedrooms and newly landscaped gardens with BBQ etc.

 Commis Chef – Responsibility

In order to be a successful Commis Chef you will,

• Be able to undertake a varied list of food preparation for your section daily.
• Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are always the highest quality.
• Ensure and control levels of guest satisfaction, food quality and operations within set food costs for your section.
• Be competent in working in your section completing accurate mis en place list for next service, highlighting low or out of stock items and completing the closedown in line with food safety
• Maintain a good level of understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry
