Duty Manager - Calne, Pewsey or Marlborough
Wiltshire’s Leisure Services have a vision to make a difference to the health of our communities through increased physical activity delivered by a diverse team of sport and physical activity specialists.
We are currently looking for 3 energetic and dynamic individuals to join us as duty managers in either Calne Leisure Centre, The Vale in Pewsey or Marlborough Leisure Centre.
About the role
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational and staff issues in the day to day running of the centre.
You will be undertaking a variety of roles as required to meet operational needs, acting as the primary point for solving customer and staff issues, acting as the key holder for opening/closing the centre and taking responsibility for ensuring the centre remains a safe, smart, fully functioning community space during opening hours.
Hours will cover the full operating hours of each centre; Monday to Sunday working on three week shift patterns.
You will need to be customer focussed, an effective leader and be able to deal with complex customer and facilities issues. Previous supervision of staff and twelve months experience in a customer facing role is essential.
