Chef de Partie required to join the team at Sandymouth Holiday Resort in Bude.

Upon joining us, your main responsibilities will be to assist in the preparation and presentation of all our mouth watering dishes whilst maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the kitchen and general work areas.

This is a permanent position to work full time variable hours which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring all food service is prompt and to a high standard.
• Working on stock ordering and ensuring good levels of stock rotation.
• General cleanliness of all work and kitchen areas.
• Ensure published menus and specials boards have the correct selling prices.
• Ensure that the correct portion sizes and waste targets are adhered to as outlined.
• Ensure all food hygiene regulations and procedures are adhered to.

What experience you will need

• Having previous experience within a similar role is an advantage.

What skills you will need

• Catering qualifications and level 3 food safety qualification are desirable.
• Driving licence and ability to drive is an advantage although not essential
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive work ethic
• Willingness to learn new skills and train other members of the team
