Stockroom Supervisor - Luton - 36.5 hrs

What you'll be doing...

 

Joining as a Supervisor can be the perfect start point if you’re aspiring to become a future Manager responsible for running your own department or store

 

Creating the ultimate retail experience requires great product availability. You’ll organise the daily routines and activities for the stockroom team, focussing on the priorities that will deliver the Debenhams Redesigned strategy. Keeping the stockroom running smoothly means your responsibilities will be extensive; from rota planning, handling delivery schedules and stock file accuracy to on the job coaching and training of the team.

 

Customers expect plenty of choice from well stocked displays every time they visit. You’ll ensure we can deliver seamless replenishment of all departments across the store so customers aren’t disappointed by poor product availability when they shop.

 

You’ll coordinate all the back of house activities that allow for a highly efficient stockroom, always considering how the stockroom operation influences the customer and always keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do or every decision you make.

Experience of supervising a team is required, preferably in retail or stockroom environment.

 

When you’ll be doing it...

 

We’re open 7 days a week and in this role you’ll need to be available to work 5 variable days per week including weekends
