As our Starbucks Team Leader you will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the constant monitoring of our established brand standards. As a result you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You should have a can do attitude. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below.

As a Starbucks Team Leader you will:

    Support the deliver of the food and beverage strategy in order to achieve budgeted commercial returns.
    Drive and lead consistent standards and profit performance through effective selection of resource, inspiration and development of Starbucks team members inline with your Starbucks Manager.
    This role is all about driving quality and value that ensures great guest experiences, by being obsessed about standards and hospitality, then leading and challenging team members to achieve the highest levels of service. Support in creating an engaged team through development opportunities, reward & recognition and a culture of team work and support. Ensure brand standards are delivered consistently by supporting the Starbucks Manager using the appropriate training resources tools and audit measures in the Starbucks toolkit.
    Full compliance within Starbucks directive
    Foster a culture of passion for food and beverage knowledge, conduct tastings in order to maximise sales. Maximise utilisation of suppliers to deliver product training on a regular basis.
    Plan, cost and support local marketing activity events to ensure they achieve an appropriate return on investment Ensure all marketing collateral is to brand specifications - Starbucks marketing up to date within the department Achieve top 10 ranking on Trip Advisor for your local area. Engage other departments such as reception, pub and leisure in promoting local marketing events. Research sales mix trends and adjust merchandising to promote and drive sales of high cash and percentage margin items. 
    Share experience and personal passion to lead and embed a strong development culture and training and development is consistently high priority. Support your Starbucks Manager in the recruitment of team members who embody the role model descriptions of the high performance behaviours. Using the KPIs, benchmark individual team members performance in terms of sales, and through our online appraisal to review their performance against the five high performance behaviours.
    Review wage cost and ensure staffing levels are at the appropriate levels to drive conversion, utilising tools such as Rota Horizon. Support your Starbucks Manager to ensure the current MPL list from Starbucks is live in food stock systems Support your Starbucks Manager to ensure stock is kept to the correct par levels are in line with specification. Support your Starbucks Manager to ensure all relevant stock control procedures and best practice procedures are in place e.g. members of staff only with correct level authorisation conduct voids, refunds and ‘no sales’.
