We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our IT Team.

Key Responsibilities

Interpreting Business Requirements

  • Document requirements in Epics, User Stories and Business Use Cases
  • Work with the Product Owner or Customers to gain clarity on requests, and identify any missing requirements
  • Work with users / Product Owner to develop acceptance criteria
  • Work with the development team to understand the business requirements

Role requirements

  • 5 Years + Experience, ideally in a Retail Environment
  • Experience of working in an agile environment and a good understanding of agile development methodologies
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills and interpersonal skills with confidence to deliver at senior / director levels
  • Experienced in a range of business analysis tools and techniques from requirements gathering to business and data modelling

Typical Qualifications

  • First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)

  • Defines, documents and carries out small projects or sub projects, alone or with a small team actively participating in all phases
  • Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project
  • Prepares realistic plans (including quality, risk and communications plans) and tracks activities against the project schedule, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders
  • Monitors costs, timescales and resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances
  • Ensures that own projects are formally closed, reviewed and lessons learned recorded

Supplier Management & Commercial

Follow:

Supports procurement and supplier management activities

  • Liaises with partners and suppliers, purchasing and other parties to investigate and resolve minor issues
  • Assists in the collection and reporting on supplier performance data
  • Assists with routine day to day communication between the organisation and suppliers
