FLANNELS is the luxury fashion destination for men and women, home to an edit of over 200 brands from established international designers to contemporary labels.

Currently we are looking for a new Junior Photographer to join our Head Office in Oxford Street, London.

The role:

As part of the photography team, you will be creating photographic content in line with the FLANNELS key brand pillars: London, culture/street culture, art/design, luxury fashion and music. As Junior photographer you will be part of conceptualising new ideas, upholding FLANNELS visual brand guidelines, shooting and editing still life and model shoots both in and out the studio.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sets in-line with creative concept and references
  • Set up appropriate lighting in-line with concept and creative references
  • Support photographer when needed to shoot still life, flat-lay and model imagery with a view to undertaking lead photography on shoots in future.
  • Batch edit and retouch imagery when required
  • Keep accurate daily shoot records and manage asset files
  • Maintain strong lines of communication with the Studio Manager, photographer and production team relating to workflow, creative and output
  • Flag any challenges relating to creative and studio management and troubleshoot problems.
  • Undertake daily administrative and studio tasks as needed.
  • Be able to meet target expectations whilst also meeting visual standards set out in brand guidelines.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and quality plus a passion for brand identity.
  • Maintain consistency of quality across all images and make sure they match in colour, style & brand guidelines.
  • Follow seasonal updates and creative direction.
  • Work with photography team to develop new and exciting ways of shooting.
  • Together with photography team oversee the ongoing development of an in-house photographic studio.

You have:

  • Proven experience in digital photography in a commercial studio environment.
  • Technical knowledge and practical experience of studio lighting
  • Proven experience and knowledge in retouching to a high standard.
  • High technical proficiency in Mac computers and software.
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Experience in directing models on set.
  • Proven skills in still-life photography.
  • Ability to work well to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Ability to envision and to create set design.
  • Detail oriented and creative.

  • Hitting weekly deadlines for content
  • Increased outputs from photography team
  • Reduced lead times of asset delivery
  • Continued elevation of content inline with overarching business strategy
  • Creating content within budget
