The Royal is a large 155-bedroom hotel known for its iconic status as one of the central landmarks of the city, offering the splendour of Victorian architecture with a dramatic, luxurious and modern twist in decor and style. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Full Time Food & Beverage Manger to oversee a busy multi-bar, lounge and restaurant operation, providing Duty Management support to the Hotel.

As Food & Beverage Manager, you will be required to;

  • Take responsibility for all food and beverage service areas.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food and beverage service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage service staff are recruited, trained and developed in line with current and future business requirements.
  • Ensure all control procedures are implemented effectively.
  • Ensure Health, Safety and Hygiene procedures are maintained to company standards.
  • Assist on the day to day running of the hotel and to deal with customer complaints correctly and as efficiently as possible.
  • Organise and run functions.
  • Carry out any duties and responsibilities that may be required.
  • Communicate effectively with other manager, staff and guests.
  • Effectively Develop an ethos of customer care within the department.
  • Plan, rota and control wage costs within company guidelines.
  • Flexible work in line with business requirements.
  • Drive sales by actively exploiting current and new revenue opportunities.
  • Expand our social media presence.

 The successful candidate will have Previous similar experience as a Food and Beverage Service Manager in a 100+ bedroom hotel or good experience as a Restaurant or Bars Manager in a 150+ bedroom hotel. Ideal candidate will be organised, punctual and well presented, with excellent communication skills and customer service.
