Fitness and Wellbeing Advisor
Part time

Nuffield Health are looking for a Fitness and Wellbeing Advisor to work within one of their corporate sites in Derby. Successful candidates will be competent in all client services operational issues, striving to provide and maintain high standards of accuracy and customer care for the fitness areas.

This role will involve working various shifts between the hours of 06:15 and 22:15 Monday-Friday, and 08:45-17:15 on weekends.

The hourly rate is set at £8.24 per hour.

The role is an 8 hour per week contract, however flexibility will be needed for additional shifts when required.


  • Conduct gym programmes and inductions
  • Take lead of equipment set ups in the sports hall
  • Teach studio classes
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all members and guests
  • Engage with members/guests and give proactive advice
  • Maintenance and cleaning of the gym equipment
  • Other applicable responsibilities to meet the needs of the role

  • Skills and experience

  • Either completed or working towards a current level 3 qualification (e.g. Premier/Lifetime)
  • Experience teaching various studio classes
  • Ability to motivate and create a positive environment
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • All candidates must be enthusiastic, approachable, hard-working and able to deliver under pressure
  • Proven IT knowledge and competence with office packages
