Senior Recreation Assistant - Motcombe Pool, Eastbourne

35 hours/week | £15,417.25 per annum

As a Senior Recreation Assistant you will have one of the most important jobs in our centres, and that is keeping our customers save around the water.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals who can deliver an excellent level of service to our members and want to encourage the community to get active.  You will need to be a strong swimming and have a high standard of physical fitness, if you do not have a current NPLQ qualification then you will be asked to take a competency test to ensure that your swimming is of the required high standard.

Your main duties will be:

• Ensuring the safety of our customers, using excellent communication skills to appropriately correct behaving of pool users where necessary
• Understanding and adhering to relevant health and safety
• Setting up and breaking down various activities and events
• Conducting pool tests
