Food & Drink Support Manager - Hemel Support Centre

What's on the menu?

As our Food & Drink Support Manager, you will be working with the Head of Food & Drink to support Regional Managers and all 60 centres in delivering market-leading food and drink sales and profit growth through speed, quality and consistency, and excellent service standards.

Within this field-based role, you will:

  • Support the Head of Food and Drink in the development, planning and delivery of the food and drink menus.
  • Monitor our centres’ food & drink sales and service performance, supporting intensive care centres as required.
  • Support the centres to develop consistency in delivering great quality products to our customers.
  • Support the centres’ improvement of speed of service to our customers.
  • Work on a variety of projects to develop specific categories and products, making best use of marketing and support funds to show return on investment.
  • Own selected supplier contracts, conducting reviews as required and give future recommendations to the Head of Food and Drink.
  • Take ownership for our Bar & Diner Training Academies and support the People team with the creation and development of new learning material.
  • Provide support to our investment programmes, including support and training with new centre openings and existing estate refurbishments.
  • Ensure that our food and drink audit programme is reviewed and updated as required.
  • Monitor and report on activity, cost and performance to demonstrate return on investment.
  • Work with key stakeholders to support the launch of company food & drink initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Head of Food & Drink, supporting and leading other key projects as required.

    To be a successful Food & Drink Support Manager here at Hollywood Bowl, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience working in a food & drink operational role.
  • A high level of commercial awareness with a good understanding of food and drink P&L’s.
  • Experience of leading food and drink projects that span multiple sites.
  • Ability to work with and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • A target-driven work-ethic, motivated by pace and innovation.
  • Strong initiative and effective time management.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulation.
  • Advanced Food Hygiene certificate, desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and work flexible hours as required.
