Catering Assistant

We are seeking a reliable individual to join the Catering team on a permanent basis at our Kingsmead Leisure Centre. As a Catering Assistant you'll support the operation of the café through high standards of customer service.

Catering Assistant duties include serving customers, cooking and food preparation, stocking and cleaning vending machines, checking stock deliveries and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the servery and dining areas.

What you'll need:

• previous experience of working in a catering environment
• great customer service skills with experience of working with the general public
• to be a good communicator with a positive attitude
• to be flexible and reliable with regards to working hours
• ideally Level 2 Food Hygiene qualified, although funding is available for the right candidate to gain this
• to be available to start work on or around 12 August
