Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Admissions Merchandiser (6 months FTC) to join our Admissions & E-Commerce team.  This role will be based at our Merlin Business Support office.

 Reporting into the Head of Admissions Merchandising, the Admissions Merchandiser (6 months FTC) is primarily responsible for supporting the Admissions & eCommerce team in the delivery of respective channel revenue and conversion targets split per attraction brand. You will also work closely with the attraction marketing teams to identify successful sales campaigns and examples of best practise that can be shared across the Group. In co-ordination with the attraction & wider business teams, the role will have responsibility for identifying and delivering enhancements to optimise the performance of the booking systems on all channels.

The role will include the below tasks and responsibilities….

  • To support the attractions with their multi-channel merchandising requirements within company SLAs, providing suggestions for improvement when appropriate.
  • To provide the appropriate analysis and learning to support the attractions.
  • To support the launch of new products/promotions and the coordination of the delivery to specified deadlines (as appropriate).
  • Maintain records and documentation to support any system changes carried out.
  • To take ownership of merchandising requests, with support from the Senior Merchandisers as required.

 

 We are looking for the following skills and experience…

We are seeking a proactive team player who is keen to develop their career in digital & admissions.
You will be a strong communicator able to effectively build relationships with internal teams based at head office and across our attractions as well as external agencies.

You will ideally have strong IT skills including MS office and able to pick up IT systems and processes with ease. Accesso experience would be highly beneficial.

You must be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative when it comes to problem solving, able to tackle issues before they arise.

You must be open to travel occasionally to the attractions and meet with their teams on site.
Understanding the attractions admissions & operational structure and processes would be highly beneficial.
