IT Support Analyst - London

We’re seeking a IT Support Analyst to join the Strand Palace team. This opportunity comes at an exciting time for the hotel. Your input will have a direct impact the business as we are undergoing a multi-million-pound investment in readiness for the 2020s.

Our hotel

Strand Palace has welcomed guests since 1905. Our journey has been very special and there is no stopping us. All 785 guestrooms are being refurbished and they feature a modern art deco style, providing a fresh and utilitarian aesthetic.

Work has just been completed in the hotel’s public areas including a new restaurant and bar Haxells, in a modern and contemporary style. The hotel attracts a wide demographic, across all ages, for both leisure and business travel, from a variety of domestic and international markets.

The team at the Strand Palace is also very diverse. From new comers making their way to the industry to some of the most experienced professionals in London. The ideal candidate

This role is ideal for a IT professional with Hospitality experience that is ready for their next step. Ideally you will have 12 months plus experience in a similar environment. You will have a warm personality, be genuinely interested in building lasting relationships and be competitive in nature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective helpdesk support to the Hotel’s employees and guests
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
  • Install and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Identify and fix software and hardware faults quickly and efficiently
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with security and password issues
  • Liaise with external providers to ensure complex faults are repaired to the required standard
  • Build and install new PC’s or related hardware to agreed specifications
