We are currently investing £15 million in the Majestic Hotel Harrogate. This tremendous investment will transform our hotel, product and service offering to all our guests, providing them with a totally new experience as we look to rebrand the hotel to Doubletree by Hilton brand in the coming months.

Our latest transformation is our brand new Relaxation & Beauty Spa plus fully equipped Gym with heated poolside experience.

We are currently looking for an experienced Leisure Club Supervisor to join our talented team at this extremely exciting time. This is a fabulous opportunity for the right candidate to be part of our journey, making Doubletree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic the premier venue to visit in Harrogate.

About the role…

Your principal duties will be to assist the Assistant Leisure Club Manager in the smooth operation of the Leisure Club, gym and heated poolside area. This is a hands on role and requires someone who is comfortable managing, developing and coaching a large team but also has sound commercial knowledge to ensure sales opportunities are maximised and resources are well utilised reaching out to customers and members both inside and outside of the hotel. The facility is open 7 days a week and therefore candidates will need to be fully flexible with their working pattern, working 5 days from 7,  and at times across the facilities opening hours.

About you…

We are looking for a Leisure Club Supervisor with the following experience within the Leisure sector, and within a similar industry. You must have:

• A visible passion for the Leisure industry with a proven track record
• You will be able to work under pressure and lead by example.
• Have experienced in leading, training and developing a large team and in turn delivering and exceeding expectations of the business.
• Manage, perform  and develop PT, classes and programmes which are best suited to individual member needs.
• Experienced in all aspect of health and safety and compliance management within the Leisure industry
• Possess the relevant recognised fitness qualifications.
