Marketing Manager - Wigan
Salary Dependent on Experience
Based: Wigan, with some national travel and nights away.
JD Gyms is an incredibly stylish, award-winning, game-changing gym chain with 25 astounding gyms now open across the UK, with 10-15 more opening before the end of the year.
As we continue to grow at this rapid pace, we are looking for a multi-skilled marketing manager to lead our marketing function within our head office, to further develop our domination within the fitness industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development and delivery of exciting, engaging, effective marketing and communication strategies, plans and approaches to successfully market the JD Gyms group, increasing sales and retention
- Detailed management of the marketing budget and ensure best ROI is always achieved
- Overall responsibility for the creation, design, development, delivery and evaluation of multi-channel campaigns
- Liaison with senior management in the interpretation and creation of strong campaign briefs
- Robust campaign project management to ensure all campaigns are successfully delivered on time and to budget
- Implementation of enhanced marketing approaches including targeting, personalisation of messages and measurability; data analysis, customer profiling, segmentation and split testing
- Development of an enhanced social media and digital strategy and management of digital assets including the website
- Development and ownership of a strategic programme of sales and marketing activities for pre-sale clubs
- Development and ownership of a strategic programme of sales and marketing activities for under-performing clubs
- Introduction of processes to keep all outbound communications fresh, accurate and up to date
- Monitoring of marketing trends to ensure the brand is continually ahead of the game
- Performance and operational management of the marketing team, inspiring, motivating and supporting staff to deliver high quality work as an effective team.
- Supporting the professional development of the team to continuously develop skills and expertise
- Coordination and management the work of external consultants and identify new consultants with additional expertise
- Regular reporting to senior management re: marketing performance, ROI and improvements including the delivery of detailed multi-level reports and analysis.
